The aim of this event was to present the ongoing cooperation between Armenia and the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme and highlight its significant impact on the field of vocational (higher) education and skills development in the country. During the two days, discussions and consultations took place on the implementation of the tasks in the respective working groups, project management issues and planning of further actions. The partners from Armenia and Ukraine presented a proposal for training modules in aquaculture and fisheries, including syllabuses. The next step will be the selection of responsible teachers from Ukraine and Armenia to undergo practical training in Nitra, Porto and Dubrovnik to acquire the necessary skills for teaching the proposed modules. In this context, a technical excursion was organised in the framework of the project to the company's farm Slovryb s.r.o. in Biely Potok to present the possibilities of practical training in the field of fish farming in intensive production. [vc_row css_animation="" row_type="row" use_row_as_full_screen_section="no" type="full_width" angled_section="no" text_align="left" background_image_as_pattern="without_pattern"][vc_column][vc_column_text]The SNAU  team successfully conducted a benchmarking study of master's degree programs in aquaculture and fisheries as part of the Afishe project in fulfillment of the WP2 task with active support from all project participants. As part of the benchmarking, about 28 globally recognized Master's programs of European universities were carefully studied in order to obtain a complete picture of modern best practices in the implementation of Master's programs in the field of aquaculture and fisheries. In fulfilment of this Agreement, the parties establish "Hydrobiology and Aquaculture" Department within the framework of the collaboration to implement "Fishery" master's degree program.
