The aim of this event was to present the ongoing cooperation between Armenia and the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme and highlight its significant impact on the field of vocational (higher) education and skills development in the country. During the two days, discussions and consultations took place on the implementation of the tasks in the respective working groups, project management issues and planning of further actions. The partners from Armenia and Ukraine presented a proposal for training modules in aquaculture and fisheries, including syllabuses. The next step will be the selection of responsible teachers from Ukraine and Armenia to undergo practical training in Nitra, Porto and Dubrovnik to acquire the necessary skills for teaching the proposed modules. As part of the benchmarking, about 28 globally recognized Master's programs of European universities were carefully studied in order to obtain a complete picture of modern best practices in the implementation of Master's programs in the field of aquaculture and fisheries.
