27 Jun Opening a Laboratory of Integrated Multitrophic Aquaculture at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE)
[vc_row css_animation="" row_type="row" use_row_as_full_screen_section="no" type="full_width" angled_section="no" text_align="left" background_image_as_pattern="without_pattern"][vc_column][vc_column_text]The event was attended by Viktor Soroka, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Educational Work, Alla Pryshchepa, Director of the Institute of Agroecology and Land Management (ILAM), Andriy Safonyk, Director of the Institute of Energy, Automation and Water Engineering (IEAWE), teaching staff and other ILAM employees, students of the "Aquatic Bioresources and Aquaculture" programme and invited business people from Rivne and the Kyiv region. The laboratory will be a practical base for students starting their studies at NUWEE in 2024-2025 as part of the AFISHE project's updated Master's programme. The laboratory will also improve the level of practical training in the Bachelor's programme in the same subject area. In addition to the rearing tanks in various shapes and sizes, the project enabled the purchase of pumping and blower systems, mechanical and biological water treatment equipment, temperature control equipment, dissolved oxygen monitoring and automatic fish feeding.
