Recently, Master’s student Arsen Safaryan has been conducting an important investigation on the water quality of different fisheries. His work focuses on assessing key ecological indicators that influence fish health, productivity, and overall aquatic ecosystem sustainability. These indicators include: oxygen level, pH, conduction, concentration of different ions, temperature and so on. This research not only provides valuable insights for Armenia’s aquaculture development but also highlights the importance of applying modern scientific approaches in ensuring food security and environmental protection. During the programme, the future laboratory assistants were able to gain practical experience with the most modern equipment used in fisheries laboratories. The skills and knowledge gained are invaluable for improving the students' laboratory practicals and supporting faculty members research endeavours of faculty members.
